The system adopts bay-oriented and object-oriented configuration with layered distributed architecture to replace the traditional centralized structure, and this makes the system more reliable, easier to extend and maintain.  NR’s RCS-9700 series NCS system is fully compatible with the IEC 61850 standard and it has been used in power plants and put into service successfully already.
