• On Nov. 27, 1995, Nanjing Nari-Relays Electric Co., Ltd. was founded. Mr. Shen Guorong, Chairman of Board Directors and President, is a founder of the Company.

• In the mid-1990s, the LFP series digital protection relays with “Deviation of Power Frequency Component (DPFC)?as the core technology were successfully developed, marking the start of vigorous growth of NR. The Company gradually became the leader in the protection and automation sector in China .

• On Dec. 27, 1999, Mr. Shen Guorong was elected academician of China Academy of Engineering (CAE) for his significant contributions to electrical engineering.

• In 2000, the RCS series numerical protection relays were successfully developed, marking a new stage of NR's products as they reaching the advanced world level, and providing firm guarantee for the Company to hold the leading position in the protection and automation sector in China .

• In 2002, NR developed the HVDC control and protection system with its own intellectual property right, which was successfully applied in the Gezhouba ?Nanqiao ±500kV HVDC project and Three Gorge ?Shanghai ±500kV HVDC project.

• In May 2005, President Hu Jin Tao visited and inspected NR.

• In May 2006, NR was determined by the Propaganda Department of CPC Central Committee as one of the eight model units in self-reliance innovation.

• In June 2006, the Company set up the International Department, officially starting the development of international market. The globalization of NR is now in rapid and orderly progress.

• At the beginning of 2007, NR successfully developed the PCS series protection relays based on the UAPC platform, offering powerful support for the development of digital substation.

• In Oct. 2007, the industrial park of NR beside Jiulong Lake was put into service, marking a new milestone in the development of NR.
