Real-time and historical databases are equipped with RCS-9700 system. These databases adopt universal database which is easy for extension and maintenance and can be modified on-line and generated off-line. They are convenient to interrogate and invoke with each other.
l Reactive power and voltage automatic regulation
Reactive power and voltage automatic regulation software is companion software of RCS-9700 software package. It is used for composite regulation of voltage and reactive power.
l Configurable alarm processing
When a measurement threshold is violated, a status change of digital input or a system internal fault occurs and an alarm will be issued. The system has many alarm processes according to the style of conditions.
l Sequence of events record and post-fault review
Information of protection operation, change of equipments’ statuses, measurement threshold violation will be collected by the system. Sequence of these events will be displayed, printed and stored. The user can set period for storage.
l Configuration and displaying of graph and chart
Interface editor is an important tool of the system. All geographic graphs, single line diagrams, reports and bar charts are generated by it. Interface editor provides convenient compilation function. It can create graph and report automatically and makes the graph and report preparing courses more convenient, fast and efficient.
l List of events
System can provide various information, such as information of protection, list of protection events, real-time and historical curves and real-time and historical reports.
Besides, following actions can be done on the main interface, such as reset of protection signals and configuration of protection setting, post-fault review and display of the result in picture form, and supervisory on communication bit stream, etc.
l On-line calculation and reports preparing
Based on real-time data acquired, the system can make calculation on following items:
Current, voltage, active and reactive power, power factor, kWh and kvar.
Statistics of maximum and minimum value per day, month and year of assigned quantities and duration of these values’ occurrence.
l Operation management
Suggestions on operation: The system can give suggestions on typical failure, fault, accident or normal operation, making operation statistics. These suggestions may be in form of pictures.
l Self-diagnosis and self-restoration
Software and hardware of the system can be self diagnosed on-line.
Range of self-diagnosis objects include supervisory and control units, various kinds of stations, communication interface, and other equipments, networks, channels, clock synchronism system and peripheral equipments.
