RCS-9794 provides various communication interfaces and communication protocols at bay level (communication with relay protection device, fault recorder, electric meter and DC panel and other intelligent equipment), and provides multiple Ethernet ports or RS-232 ports supporting IEC 60870-5-103 or IEC 61850 (only Ethernet is supported) at station level.
At station level, at most, 4 fiber optic or twisted pair wire Ethernet interfaces and 2 RS232 series ports can be provided.
Types of communication interfaces at bay level provided by RCS-9794 include RS232/RS485/RS422 (twisted pair wire or fiber optic), and LonWorks fieldbus and Ethernet (twisted pair wire or fiber optic) communication. At most, 2 Ethernet interfaces (twisted pair wire or fiber optic), 54 serial twisted pair wire interfaces (or 36 fiber optic serial interfaces), and 2 LonWorks fieldbus interfaces can be provided. According to complexity of protocols, 11 or more protocols can be supported at the same time.
It adopts several 32 bit embedded processor and several 16 bit MCU hardware platform, each protocol is processed by a separate MCU. All modules are independent to each other. Its functions are powerful and configuration is flexible. It satisfies diverse requirements of protocol interface on premise of ensuring stability of software.
It adopts embedded real-time multitasking operation system. It provides various kinds of standard communication interface, including Ethernet, RCS232£¬RCS485£¬RCS422£¬LonWorks etc.
It adopts integral front plate and plug-in module structure. Power signal and small signal circuits are strictly separated which enhances high immunity performance.
