The RCS-9700 Network Control System is a monitoring system designed for power system network of all voltage levels. It provides variety monitoring functions including:
l Safety monitoring of electrical devices
l Complete telecontrol functions for power system dispatching, incorporating remote metering, remote dispatching, remote control and remote signal transmit.
l Real-time monitoring of electrical parameters and other electrical devices if necessary
l AGC and AVC functions
l Power plant operation management and economic power distribution between each generator set.
The RCS-9700 series NCS system adopts object-oriented structure which is flexible to configure and easy to extend. The whole system is designed elaborately which makes each device safe, reliable and easy for communication. By using component technology, the RCS-9700 NCS realizes plug and play of hardware and software function. Anti-interference capability ensures long-term safety operation of network devices under complex industrial environment. The software and hardware platform of e network communication devices are composed of innovative embedded processor, real-time multifunction operating system and accurate synchronization system. The operation system of RCS-9700 NCS series is compatible with Windows and UNIX system.
NR’s RCS-9700 NCS system is fully compatible with IEC 61850 standard and they have been applied to many power plants and put into service successfully already.
