The PCS-9400 generator excitation system can be applied to all kinds of turbine units with different excitation modes and generating capacity up to 1000MW. A PCS-9400 device consists of a numerical excitation system, a thyristor rectifier, a diode valve rectifier, a de-excitation equipment and an auxiliary cabinet. It can provide complete control functions, incorporating power system stabilizer, optimum control and adaptive control. The PCS-9400 series can be customized as all these functions are flexible to choose according to customers’ requirements. Additionally, a compatible excitation system can be realized by combining several PCS-9400 equipments.
