The RCS-9700 network control system is designed as an automation system for the transmission substation and generator with capacity up to 1000MW in a power plant. It provides advanced automatic functionality including safety monitoring of the primary devices in the power network and the real-time monitoring of the electric parameters. The system adopts bay-oriented and object-oriented configuration with layered distributed architecture to replace the traditional centralized structure, and this makes the system more reliable, easier to extend and maintain.  NR’s RCS-9700 series NCS system is fully compatible with the IEC 61850 standard and it has been used in power plants and put into service successfully already.
