An overall description of automation system will be introduced in lectures, covering:
- System network configurations
- Brief introductions of bay control units, protection, control and monitoring relays.
- Application of substation automation system platform.
- Communication network and IEC 61850
- Application example
The training focuses on need of engineers, technicians, operators and maintenance personnel. Through step-by-step tutorials and lab excises, students will understand the configuration of different system network and be able to operate RCS-9700 platform software.
