After winning the bid of generator protection with capacity of 2*1036MW in Haimen Power Plant of Huaneng Group, and 2*1000MW in Sanbaimen Power Plant of Datang Group, NR again, in January 2008, was successfully awarded of a tender of 2*1000MW generator protection for Generator 3 and Generator 4 in the stage ¢ò extension project of Suizhong Power Plant in Liaoning Province. Additionally, the self-developed stator and rotor injecting earth fault protection principles are adopted in generator protective relays.

In the year of 2000, in stage¢ñ project of Suizhong Power Plant, two ultra-supercritical coal-fired units made in Russia with each capacity of 800MW had been installed and put into service. Since 2003 and 2004, RCS-985 series generator protective relays, which have gained high evaluation from customers, have been applied to Generator 1 and Generator 2 and till now they are operating safely and steadily.
